Biography

Renee is a dedicated science and environmental educator with more than 10 years of experience leading and coordinating field-based programs for students and teachers. She is responsible for the oversight of curriculum and professional development for Outdoor School. Renee has developed curriculum around a variety of topics including watersheds, ecosystems, fisheries, and climate change. She spent many years living and working throughout Alaska on land and at sea, and has a passion for learning about other cultures through travel. When not working, Renee can be found hiking with her husband, son, and dog, as well as cooking and working in the yard.
