Students from Baker High School join Outdoor School
CAMP ELKANAH — Anne-Marie Popa established an outdoor club this year at Baker High School, and she sees it as a perfect way to assist the annual Outdoor School — especially after the successful trial run this week at Camp Elkanah.
From Monday to Wednesday, May 22-24, sixth graders from South Baker Intermediate, Keating and Haines schools spent several days learning and exploring in nature at the camp near Starkey. The students were joined by teachers, school staff, parents and high school camp counselors.
