How to Register

Registration for the 2024 Outdoor School Gathering closed on January 17, 2024. If you are a presenter and haven't registered, please contact outdoorschool@oregonstate.edu.

Registration Fees

To learn more about fees for different groups, toggle between "Attendees," "Volunteers," and "Presenters" below.

Registration closed on January 17, 2024. We waived registration fees for attendees who volunteer for at least four hours during the Gathering. With questions, please contact outdoorschool@oregonstate.edu

Volunteer Roles:

We are looking for volunteers to help with the following tasks:

  • Traffic Director - help coordinate parking, direct vehicles (outdoors)
  • Registration Support - help check in attendees and/or presenters (indoors)
  • Greeter - welcoming people and providing directions (indoors and outdoors)
  • Move-in Support - helping people move belongings into cabins and get settled (indoors and outdoors; Tuesday and Wednesday; involves walking and lifting)
  • Move-out Support - helping people carry/transport items to their cars (indoors and outdoors; Thursday; involves walking and lifting)
  • Runner - move items between buildings and support other emerging requests (indoors and outdoors; involves walking and lifting)

Gathering App

We are using the Whova app to share up-to-date information about the Gathering and avoid printing hundreds of program booklets. The app includes the agenda, attendee and speaker information, and other tools and resources. Prior to conference, please download the Whova app (or access it via a web browser). If you have a smartphone, tablet, or laptop that you can use at the Gathering, please download the app prior to arriving at the 4-H Center.
